Charlotte K. Mokoena is a seasoned executive and advisor with over 25 years of board and executive leadership experience across listed multinational and regional organisations in Africa. Her career has centred on human capital, corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement, and leadership strategy, with a consistent focus on helping organisations navigate complexity and strengthen performance.

Most recently, Charlotte served as Executive Vice President: Human Resources and Corporate Affairs at Sasol Limited, where she held dual accountability for human capital and corporate affairs across six international geographies and a workforce exceeding 32,000 employees. Her portfolio included talent and leadership strategy, organisational culture, rewards, stakeholder engagement, communications, and social impact.

Prior to Sasol, Charlotte held executive leadership roles at Tongaat Hulett and Telkom SA, where she contributed across human resources, organisational capability, customer experience, and business leadership. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles within The Coca-Cola Company Africa Group, supporting organisational capability and development across multiple African markets. She also co-founded the Energy Council of South Africa (ECSA), serving as inaugural Management Committee Chairperson.

Charlotte currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of AfroCentric Group and Sanlam Limited, alongside advisory and governance roles across business, education, and leadership institutions.

Through CKM Advisory & Consulting, Charlotte partners with Boards, CEOs, CHROs, and leadership teams across strategy, leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and business in society, combining strategic perspective with practical implementation and delivery.
